Pics: All smiles as Victory train ahead of A-League opener

Pressure? What pressure?

It was all smiles at Gosch's Paddock on Thursday as Melbourne Victory put in the final preparations for their highly anticipated season-opener against Western Sydney Wanderers on Friday night.

Coach Kevin Muscat, who brushed off the title favourites tag as of no consequence, has (judging by the pics) no trouble taming mercurial hitman and new recruit Besart Berisha.

The traditional slow starters Victory will be keen to get off to a winner.

"It is disappointing and it frustrates me (that we haven't won in Round One recently)," Muscat told "I think it's five years now where we haven't won on the opening day.

"We've got to get everything right. Turn up tomorrow with a positive attitude, get on the front foot nice and early. Look up after 90 minutes and hopefully the scoreboard will be in our favour."
