The Queensland Lions want to replicate their stunning run in last year’s FFA Cup this season as they set their sights on reaching the sixth round. In 2015 the Lions were one of the surprise packets of the competition, reaching the round of 16 after beating South Australia’s Croydon Kings and almost knocking out Perth Glory. The Glory needed a goal from Chris Harold in the 116th minute to get past the plucky Queenslanders.
