FourFourTwo Australia were recognised at this year's Football Federation Victoria Gold Medal Night, with writer David Manuca awarded the trophy for Best News Article in 2014.

Manuca's feature story on Bahraini International Hakeem Alaraibi was nominated and voted the best among a number of submissions by the Victorian media.

South Melbourne FC's Milos Lujic took out the inaugural National Premier Leagues Victoria player of the season, with Lujic also taking out the Players' Player of the Year award and the 2014 league Golden Boot. 

Lujic's coach, Chris Taylor, took out the Coach of the Year award after guiding the club to the championship.
