In the English Premier League Mile Jedinak played a full match in Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win against Aston Villa for whom Chris Herd was not in the matchday squad. Brad Jones was an unused substitute when Liverpool won 3-2 against Manchester City in a thriller. Mark Schwarzer also remained on the bench in Chelsea’s 1-0 win at Swansea.
In the League Championship Alex Cisak was an unused substitute when Burnley FC lost 1-0 against Middlesbrough FC for whom Rhys Williams was missing due to a ruptured Achilles. Lucas Neill was absent from the matchday squad when Doncaster Rovers lost 2-1 at Ipswich. Shane Lowry and Scott McDonald were also not in the squad in Millwall’s 2-2 draw against Watford.

Aaron Downes came on in the final minutes when Torquay United won 2-1 at Bristol Rovers which will keep their hopes alive to avoid relegation.
In the Conference Premier Lee Burns played a full match when Dartford lost 1-0 against Forest Green Rovers. Alex Baird was not in the squad in Gateshead’s 1-0 win at Hereford. Joshua Riis was also absent from the matchday squad when Kidderminster Harriers won 2-0 against Welling United.
In the Conference North Adam Parkhouse was not in the squad when Stalybridge Celtic went down 4-1 at Boston United after leading 1-0 at half-time. Mitchell Austin was an unused substitute when Jon Brady’s Brackley had a scoreless draw against Stockport.

In Hong Kong Dylan Macallister played until stoppage time in Eastern Salon’s 1-0 at Sun Hei in the Quarterfinal of the FA Cup. Andy Barisic played a full match and converted the only penalty in the shoot-out for South China when they lost 1-3 on penalties against Kitchee.
In the S.League in Singapore Darren Stewart’s Woodlands Wellington lost 3-0 against Home United.
In the Indian I-League Mirjan Pavlovic came on for the second half and scored Pune’s only goal when they lost 3-1 at East Bengal. Daniell Zeleny played only 26 minutes and came off with a knock in Churchill Brothers 4-2 loss at Mumbai.
In the Major League Soccer in the USA Andy Rose was not in the matchday squad in Seattle Sounders’s 3-2 win at Dallas. Tim Cahill was also missing due to injury when New York Red Bulls lost 1-0 at DC United and remains still without a win.
