Chris Herd played until the 73rd minute as Chesterfield FC lost 3-1 at home to Gillingham FC. Shane Cansdell-Sherriff was an unused substitute as Burton Albion lost 2-0 away to Walsall FC. James Wesolowski was missing due to injury as Shrewsbury Town won 4-2 at home over Colchester United.

In League Two in England, Alex Cisak played a full match for Leyton Orient as they lost 3-2 away to Crawley Town.
In the English National League, Aaron Downes played a full match as Cheltenham Town came from behind to draw 1-1 away to Gateshead FC. Jeremy Walker came on in the 75th minute as Braintree Town played out a scoreless draw with Grimsby Town. Michael McEntegart was an unused substitute for Welling United as they lost 2-0 at Boreham Wood. Daniel Collins was not in the squad for Wrexham FC as they lost 2-1 away to Dover Athletic.
