Socceroos midfielder Luke Brattan has secured his dream move to EPL giants Manchester City.
Reports emerged on Monday night (AEDT) the ex-Brisbane Roar playmaker has joined City on a four-year deal.
The 25-year-old has immediately been loaned out to Championship club Bolton Wanderers until January 3 next year.
Brattan, who was born in England, spent five years with Roar, winning three Hyundai A-League championships.
He had been on the lookout for a new club after having his contract terminated with Roar when the club failed to meet its superannuation obligations.
And he has achieved his goal, joining one of the biggest clubs in world football.
The deal is a huge boost to Brattan, who will be hopeful of being included in the upcoming Socceroos squad for next month’s World Cup qualifiers against Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh.comments
