Kerem Bulut has made his desired move back to Europe, signing a three-year deal with Greek top-flight club Iraklis Thessaloniki.
Bulut, 23, left the Western Sydney Wanderers at the end of the A-League season with an eye on a return to Europe.
And it has come – albeit at an unexpected destination – after his move to Greece was confirmed.
The club was reportedly concerned about signing Bulut due to his previous off-field troubles.
But it seems the worries have been answered as Bulut's move was confirmed on Tuesday morning (AEST).
Bulut made an impressive return to Australia in 2015.
His time in the Czech Republic and Turkey came to an end when he signed for the Wanderers in January.
Bulut scored six goals in 13 appearances in both the A-League and AFC Champions League.
Iraklis are back in the Superleague for the first time since 2011, when they were relegated to the third-tier as punishment for having unpaid debts.comments
