Tim Cahill has opened his goal scoring account in the Chinese Super League with a strike in Shanghai Shenhua’s 2-0 win over Hangzhou on Saturday.
In his seventh appearance for Shanghai, Cahill converted a 63rd minute penalty which he played some part in winning.
However, Cahill was forced to sweat from the spot, after his initial strike was disallowed and he was made to re-take it.

Hangzhou keeper Hu Cao got an arm to the Socceroo’s initial penalty low to his right and Cahill produced a similar drilled strike for the one which counted.
Bassem Boulaabi gave away the spotkick when he handled inside the box, under pressure from Cahill at a corner.
Elsewhere, Mitch Langerak kept a clean sheet for Borussia Dortmund and Ben Halloran produced an assist in Germany’s 2.Bundesliga.comments
