Former Australia international Brett Holman will stay in the United Arab Emirates after signing a one-year deal with Emirates Club.
Holman, 31, left Al Nasr after the club decided against renewing his contract despite their cup double in 2014-15.
The 63-time Socceroo was linked with a move to the A-League and clubs in China, but will instead continue his UAE adventure.
Emirates Club finished 10th in the UAE top-flight this season.
Holman's future with Al Nasr was uncertain late in the campaign, although he felt he deserved a new deal.
An A-League move was seemingly never on the cards, with his career instead to continue at Emirates Club.comments
