Newcastle Jets have announced that former A-League Assistant Coach and National Youth League mentor James Pascoe has been appointed to the role of Acting Football Manager.
Pascoe brings first-rate organisational skills and football knowledge to the position.
The former Hunter Sports High Director of Sport and FFA A-License coach will assist with the planning and development of the team’s pre-season campaign, player recruitment, and A-League compliance matters.
Head of A-League Damien de Bohun said: “James brings the right football and administrative skills, but as importantly has a great insight into football in Northern NSW and the elite player pathways.
“This appointment is the first of many steps to ensure that there is a strong Novocastrian spirit in the new club that is taking shape.”
