Tomi Juric scored in his first ever league start for Roda JC as they went down 2-1 to FC Twente in the Eredivisie overnight.
It was the 24-year-old's second goal for his new club after finding the net in the KNVB Beker Cup win against De Treffers four days ago.
Juric made his first league start for the club alongside Rostyn Griffiths, with Danny de Silva coming on in the second-half to have all three Australians on the pitch at the same time.

It was De Silva’s first league appearance for Roda after joining the club on loan last month.
Goals to Jari Oosterwijk and Kamohelo Mokotjo had Twente 2-0 up but Juric pulled one back on 81 minutes to set up a tense finish at De Grolsch Veste.

Twente managed to hold on for the win to move out of the relegation zone, with Roda moving down to 7th on the table.
Roda’s next game is Sunday morning AEST when they host the winless Cambuur.
