Socceroos striker Tomi Juric is sweating on scan results after he was forced to leave Roda JC’s winter training camp in Portugal after an injury scare.
Juric hurt his knee during training and flew back to the Netherlands late last week for further investigation and an MRI scan.
The results of the scans are yet to be confirmed by the club.
It's not the first time that Juric has had trouble with his knees with the 24-year-old suffering a similar injury at Western Sydney Wanderers in late 2013.
Juric has already missed a handful of Roda JC games earlier this season after sustaining a groin injury on Socceroos duty.
Despite this, the striker has scored seven goals in 12 appearances for Roda JC since signing with the club in August.
The ex-Western Sydney Wanderers marksman is only on a one-year contract with the Eredivisie battlers and will be desperate to avoid a lengthy stint on the sidelines.comments
