Katebian leaves Melbourne Victory

Melbourne Victory youngster Joey Katebian has parted ways with Melbourne Victory citing it was 'time for a new chapter' of his career.

The 2015-16 National Youth League golden boot winner made the announcement on his Instagram.

The striker has left the club immeadiately after four years at the club which saw him win the Melbourne Victory youth medal in 2016, and Player's Player of the year in 2015.

A crucial part and captain of the Victory Youth NPL side that promoted to NPL1 last year, Katebian leaves with 40 goals in 38 games in the NPL for Melbourne Victory, including 8 goals so far this season in NPL1
