Langerak out for two months

Australian goalkeeper Mitch Langerak could be out for up to two months after Stuttgart announced he will require immediate surgery on his knee.

Langerak has struggled with injury since arriving at Stuttgart and will face a further 6-8 weeks out after developing a cyst in his knee.

The 27-year-old suffered a thigh injury early in pre-season and with surgery looming is now is out for another two months.

It's a cruel blow for the goalkeeper who moved to Stuttgart in search of more game-time, but with injuries has seen Przemyslaw Tyton take the number one spot.

The goalkeeper will be hoping to return to full fitness as quick as possible and compete for the starting position in goals at Stuttgart.
