Perth Glory have mutually terminated the contract of talented forward Jamie Maclaren.
Maclaren, 21, had sought a release from the final year of his contract – and the termination was confirmed on Monday.
Glory said they had released Maclaren "to allow him to pursue alternate football opportunities".
Maclaren scored 11 goals in 38 A-League matches for the Glory.
"I would like to thank the club and all the fans and members for their support over the past two years. I have many fond memories of WA and have enjoyed my time here," he said.
"As far as my future is concerned, I don't have any immediate plans, but I would like to wish the club the best of luck in the forthcoming campaign."
Maclaren becomes the latest big loss for the Glory, who have also had the likes of Rostyn Griffiths, Scott Jamieson and Danny Vukovic depart.
Antony Golec, Alex Grant and Jerrad Tyson have joined the club ahead of the 2015-16 season.
