Socceroos No.1 Mat Ryan has returned to training with Valencia as he looks to re-claim his first-team position for the La Liga club.
Ryan has been out of action for almost a month after picking up a knock to his knee against Deportivo La Coruna.
The goalkeeper missed Australia's two World Cup qualifiers against Bangladesh and Tajikistan in early September.
Adam Federici took his spot and kept two clean sheets as Australian won 5-0 and 3-0 respectively.
Ryan has missed five games for Valencia, with the Spanish side winning two, losing two and drawing one game in his absence.
Valencia defeated Granada 1-0 overnight and will front Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
Ryan will be pushing for a starting spot but it remains unclear if he will be fit enough, or if manager Nuno Santo will continue with Jaume Domenech.
