Melbourne City extend Miller stay

Melbourne City has officially announced that midfielder Liam Miller will continue at the club until the end of the calendar year.

Miller, 33, signed for City on a one-game National Replacement Contract and played 90 minutes in the club's 2-2 draw with Central Coast Mariners on Sunday.

The midfielder signs on as as an Injury Replacement for Argentine Jonatan Germano, who has been placed on the long-term injury list with a hamstring injury.

Miller is expected to continue in City's starting XI on Saturday night against Sydney FC at AAMI Park.
