The Australian National Beach Soccer team will be action this weekend when they take on Lebanon, Thailand and Vanuatu at Wollongong.
For just the second year in a row the Australian Beach Soccer Cup has welcomed international competitors.
The Aussies will be trying to make it back-to-back titles after overcoming China and Thailand last year in the FFA endorsed event.
The four national teams will play a round robin format at North Beach over the weekend with the grand final held on Sunday afternoon.
Each team will play three games with the top two facing off in a final.
In addition to the international competition the fifth instalment of the event will witness the finals of the Wollongong Beach Soccer Cup plus mixed and junior leagues.
Last year more than 8000 spectators attended the weekend which was followed in more than 25 countries.
Sand, sun and celebration is the order of the weekend with a summer party fashion show, Brazilian dancers, Samba music, an international DJ, cheerleaders and fitness activities for kids.
