Two Australian-born players were in the FYR Macedonia side that defeated the Olyroos 3-1 in Skopje overnight.
The Olyroos were unable to repeat the heroics of their 1-0 win over Turkey in Istanbul on Friday as they continue preparations for January's Olympic qualifiers.
The winning side included stars of the National Youth League, Nicola Kuleski and Phil Petreski, who were both raised in Australia.

Young midfielder, Kuleski was raised in Lane Cove, Sydney, and plays for the Sky Blues youth team.
Petreski, another midfielder, was Melbourne City's NYL player of the year last season.
FYR Macedonia went ahead in the third minute from a free kick before fringe Socceroo Adam Taggart levelled the scores on 14 minutes.
But The Red Lions struck back in the 41st and 63rd minutes to seal the win.
