Socceroo defender Brad Smith has been recalled from his loan spell at Swindon Town by Premier League club Liverpool.
Swindon confirmed the 20-year-old was wanted back at Anfield despite only joining The Robins on a season-long youth loan in August.

The move by Brendan Rodgers has raised speculation about the fitness of Alberto Moreno who was left out of the squad in Liverpool’s last-gasp 3-2 win over against QPR on the weekend.
Swindon boss Mark Cooper said the Aussie left back had a big future.
“Brad Smith has been recalled by Liverpool so Brad is no longer with us," Cooper explained.
“He started to look as though he was going to produce. It took him a while to get used to the way we played but he started to show glimpses of what we brought him in for.
“But it’s one of those things, Liverpool have recalled him and we can’t do anything about it.
“He’s very quick, he’s a great lad and I’m sure he will go on to have a fantastic career in the game.
“Hopefully in the future we’ll have the opportunity to bring him back.
“When there is that recall clause in the loan you always know it can happen. That’s football.”
Smith has made just one appearance for Liverpool since joining the Premier League giants in 2013 – replacing an injured Joe Allen in the 59th minute of a 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge late last year.comments
