Tom Rogic’s road to recovery may have hit a setback after being replaced early in Celtic Development Side’s 2-1 win over St Johnstone overnight.
Rogic only returned to competitive action after a long-term groin injury last week, but was substituted after 32 minutes of Monday’s clash following a bright start with a few nice touches and two dangerous shots.
Celtic are yet to confirm what the exact problem is, although Rogic was able to walk off and wasn’t seen limping.
If the 22-year-old Socceroo has re-injured his groin it would be the latest in a long list of setbacks, after almost 12 months on the sidelines.
32 Disappointment for Rogic as he leaves the fray early, with Aidan Nesbitt on in his place.

Rogic’s loan stint at Melbourne Victory last season was interrupted by an ankle problem, before his ongoing groin issues forced him to miss the 2014 World Cup despite pushing for selection in the preliminary squad.
The midfielder underwent surgery on his groin in September and subsequently also missed the 2015 Asian Cup.comments
