Two more players exit Victory

Melbourne Victory have released another two players as the squad shake-up continues.

Midfielder Jesse Makarounas, 21, and defender Dylan Murnane, 22, are the latest to head for the exit after not being offered new contracts.

The two players join another youngster, 22-year-old Giancarlo Gallifuoco, who tweeted his departure on Friday.

Victory announced changes to their playing squad following the club's exit from the AFC Champions League.

It brings to seven the number of players departing the A-League outfit including  Archie Thompson (released), Gui Finkler (signed by Wellington Phoenix), Kosta Barbarouses (signed by Wellington Phoenix) and Matthieu Delpierre (retired).

Makarounas played 51 games for Victory in all competitions (A-League, Westfield FFA Cup and AFC Champions League) over three seasons.

Murnane spent four years at the club and played 32 games, while Gallifuoco made nine appearances in his only season at Victory.

"I would like to thank each of the players departing the club for their contributions to Melbourne Victory," Coach Kevin Muscat said..

"Each of them has conducted themselves in a professional manner, worked hard on and off the pitch and represented Victory with pride.

"On behalf of everyone at the club, I wish them all the best in their future endeavours."
