A brace from Melbourne Victory striker Besart Berisha helped his side to a 3-0 win over Perth Glory at AAMI Park on Sunday.
In a match played behind closed doors, the home side went in to the break with a 1-0 lead thanks to a free-kick from Gui Finkler.
The Brazilian playmaker has become a notable dead ball hitter and added to his collection on 35 minutes.
Berisha scored his first goal for Victory against A-League opposition after 69 minutes following a brilliant first touch and then left-footed strike past Danny Vukovic.
A foul by Vukovic on Thompson in the box saw the referee point to the penalty spot and Berisha added a second and Victory's third on 75 minutes.
The Glory finished the game with 10-men after Joshua Risdon went down with an injury late in the game.
