Wanderers add Bulut, Tanaka and Ward to A-League squad

Kerem Bulut and Yusuke Tanaka have been added to the Western Sydney Wanderers' A-League squad on injury replacement deals.

The Asian champions also confirmed the addition of Hayden Foxe to their coaching staff and the signing of midfielder Nick Ward.

Bulut and Tanaka, signed on AFC Champions League contracts, replace Brendon Santalab (shoulder) and Shannon Cole (collar bone) in the A-League squad.

Wanderers chief executive John Tsatsimas was delighted with all three additions, with Western Sydney Ward's fifth A-League club.

"While there was some initial red tape in adding players to our roster following the departure of several players in January, to be able to secure our roster for the remainder of the season is very promising,” Tsatsimas said in a statement.
“Yusuke is a fantastic player and we are very excited to see what Kerem will produce in the coming months.

“Nick was a late inclusion into the squad following these injuries and brings a wealth of A-League experience. He has won both the National Soccer League and Hyundai A-League and his winning mentality will be a benefit to the squad."
