Sabah are set to add another former Barclays Premier League player in the form of Abdoulaye Faye to their ranks.
Faye, who had been without a club since leaving Hull City at the end of the 2013/14 season, was pictured arriving at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport on Wednesday as he prepared to seal a move to the Malaysian Premier League side.
The move would see the 36-year-old link up again with El Hadji Diouf, whom he played with at Bolton Wanderers from 2005 to 2007 as well as during international duty with the Senegal national team.
The confirmation of his transfer is expected to be made in the next 24 hours.
Once finalised, Faye will take up the third import player spot in the team, which was left vacant by Brazilian attacker Andrezinho.
Besides Hull and Bolton, the former Senegal international also played for West Ham United, Stoke City and Newcastle United during his time in England.
