Former Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) deputy president Tan Sri Annuar Musa has yet to decide whether he will return to the FAM after his 30-month suspension ends.
Annuar has been suspended since April 4, 2012 after he was found guilty by the FAM disciplinary board for making statements about the Harimau Malaya to the media and not heeding FAM senior deputy president Tengku Abdullah Shah's warning not to make further remarks about the national team.
In an interview with Bernama, the Kelantan adviser said he would continue to contribute to the development of football but not necessarily through the FAM.
"At the moment I have not decided whether to return to the FAM, but I will remain active in football because I can contribute to football from wherever I am," he said.
"My focus is only to assist in the development of football and it does not matter whether it is with the FAM or Kelantan."
On September 9, Annuar posted on his official Facebook page about his relief at edging ever closer to the end of his suspension.
The suspension will end on October 4 this year.
