Azraai targets top-five finish

T-Team's new coach is seeking a realistic target for the Super League team this season.

The new coach of T-Team, Azraai Khor, has put a top five finish in the 2014 Super League as his teams primary target for this season.

According to Astro Arena, Azraai does not want to be overconfident, and at the same time wants to be realistic, believing that top five finish is good enough for the team.  He also stated if they achieve anything beyond that, then it is a bonus for the Titans.

“We don’t have big names in our team and most of our players are from our president squad so we have to face the reality here", said Azraai, who left Perak last season to be with T-Team.

Azraai also believes that this season’s title will be up for grabs as a lot of clubs have done well to strengthen their teams such as Johor Darul Ta’zim, Selangor, as well as Malaysia Cup winners Pahang.

With their opening game for the 2014 season being against the Red Giants in Selangor, Azraai admitted that he will make changes to the team as some of their players are still out due to injury such as Evaldo Gonzales and Nelson Martin.

“We tried a lot of partnerships upfront during our friendlies because we do not have that many options when it comes to local players playing as strikers. We need to fix that before we face Selangor,” he added.

T-Team did enough to avoid relegation last season by finishing just above the relegation zone, and they will look to start fresh this season with some new signings and a new coach.
