Junior to leave Sarawak
The defensive midfielder, who won the 2013 Malaysian Premier League and was named the 2013 Most Promising Player during his time at Ngat Sayot, took to Instagram to announce his decision and thank his fans.
“This has been one of the hardest decisions of my life.
“The most important thing I want to say at this point is a massive thank you to all of you [Sarawak supporters] for making the last two years an unforgettable experience.
“[But] there comes a point in everyone’s career when a player’s time at a club ends and sadly that time has come.
“No matter what happens, I will always remember my time at Sarawak and never forget the roar of the crowd and the goosebumps I got when I stepped on the pitch at Stadium Negeri."
Junior followed the likes of S. Chanturu, Akmal Rizal, Sani Anuar and Rashid Aya out of the door, and reportedly agreed to join Selangor.
