Juventus will play the Singapore national team in a glamour friendly on August 14, just six days after the first game at the new National Stadium when Singapore take on the Malaysia national team.
Hot on the heels of securing their 30th Serie A title over the weekend, FourFourTwo can reveal that the Italian giants will arrive on Singapore shores on August 11 immediately after playing against the A-League All-Stars in Sydney, Australia on the 10th.
FourFourTwo understands that although the fixture had been rumoured for some time, the match could only be locked in over the weekend after Juventus' UEFA Europa League run came to an end.
Winning the tournament would have scuppered any plans due to a scheduling conflict with the UEFA Super Cup match between Champions League and Europa League winners, making a stopover in Singapore impossible.
The Bianconeri are believed to be bringing a strong squad to Singapore as part of their pre-season build up - a chance for Singaporean fans to see legends of the game such as Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo and Carlos Tevez in the flesh as they run out into the fantastic new stadium.comments
