Datuk Ong Kim Swee has taken over the Harimau Malaya hotseat on an interim basis.

Ong, who is also head coach of the Malaysia Under-23 team, was appointed to the role for the second time on Saturday after Dollah Salleh resigned.

He was previously at the helm for four months in 2014 between the departure of Datuk K. Rajagopal and the appointment of Dollah, recording one win and two draws.

According to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), he will take charge of the national team until further notice.

Ong's first task will be against Saudi Arabia at the Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday.

The FAM also confirmed that they will look for a suitable foreign coach to guide the national team.
