Datuk K. Rajagopal has been announced as new head coach of Sarawak.
The 59-year-old replaced Fuad Grbresic, the interim head coach who took charge of the Crocs' remaining Malaysian Super League campaign after Robert Alberts departed in July.
He famously guided Malaysia Under-23 side to its first gold medal in 20 years at the 2009 SEA Games before leading the senior team to the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup glory.
He left the hot seat at the end of his contract last December after a series of unconvincing results with the Harimau Malaya.
Despite having been formally announced, Rajagopal will not be involved with Sarawak's 2015 TM Malaysia Cup campaign with assistant coach David Usop overseeing the team for now.
