Pahang defender Zesh Rehman heaped praise on head coach Zainal Abidin Hassan.
Rehman, who has played for a few clubs in England and Asia, believes the former Malaysia international is one of the best in the businesss.
In an exclusive interview for the February 2015 issue of FourFourTwo Malaysia/Singapore, the Pakistani defender said: "I have played for coaches from all over the world and I can honestly say that Zainal’s man-management skill is one of the best I have seen.
"He has a great personality and knows how to motivate his players and mould the group together.
"The fact that not many players leaving Pahang shows how good he is."
While most of their Malaysian Super League rivals strengthened themselves with new players, Pahang opted to keep faith with last season's cup-winning squad, which Rehman considered as an advantage.
“There is a sense of continuity in the group, which is good because we have a great team spirit.
“We may not have the best players, but I am pretty sure we have the best team spirit in the whole of Malaysia.”
