Spurs send letter to family of Sabah quake victim

Tottenham Hotspur have sent a letter of condolence to the family of a fan who died in a recent earthquake in Sabah.

The letter was written to the family of Sonia Jhala, a Singaporean student who died on Mount Kinabalu following the earthquake on June 5th.

"It is with great sadness that we have heard the news of the loss of Sonia Jhala," read the letter signed off by head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

“We have been made aware that Sonia supported Tottenham Hotspur all of her life and loved football.

"I should [sic] like to extend my deepest condolences to you and your family on behalf of all the staff and players here at the Club.

"Our sympathy goes out to you all at this difficult time.”

Jhala was one of the 18 people who lost their lives on Mount Kinabalu when that earthquake struck.
