Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel was full of praise for the Larkin Stadium following his side’s match against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).
As part of their 2015 Asian tour, the Bundesliga side took on the Southern Tigers in a friendly match at the Larkin Stadium on Thursday, which they won emphatically 6-1.
After the match, Tuchel, who replaced Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund at the end of last season, expressed his approval of the stadium’s design and facilities.
“I really like the stadium a lot,” he said during the post-match press conference.
“I like the dressing room and the path to it, which has pictures of their players on the wall.
“[Most importantly] we expected a good pitch and that was what we got tonight.
“So, it was very nice to play here.”
