Never let it be said that FourFourTwo doesn’t put in the hard yards to get you access to the biggest football names on the planet past and present.
Later this month we’ll be packing our bags and heading to Mongolia where we’ll bring you all the sights, sounds and smells from the second leg of this year’s Tiger Street Football tour but we’ve also secured an exclusive audience with this year’s ambassador Deco.
An understated legend of the game, this is a player who Luis Filipe Scholari once described as “One of the best players in the world, along with others like [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Lionel] Messi” after working with him for the Portuguese national team.
Although Brazilian born, he was never called up to the Selecao and instead chose to represent his adopted country Portugal, going on to make 75 appearances for them scoring five goals. In a glittering club career he won league titles and domestic cups in four countries at Porto, Barcelona, Chelsea and Fluminense plus two Champions League titles in 2004 and 2006.
His recent testimonial pitted his two Champions League winning teams of Porto and Barcelona against one another and fittingly Deco managed to score for both sides!
But now here’s where it gets interesting. When we sit down with Deco in Mongolia it won’t be us asking the questions. It will be you...that’s right you.
So if you’ve always wanted to ask Deco something. Anything. About his football career, his achievements on the pitch or his life off it. Now’s your chance.
The best questions selected along with Deco’s answers will be published in a forthcoming issue of FourFourTwo magazine globally so get thinking and send us your questions asap... our flight leaves soon!
