Russia forward Andrei Arshavin will be allowed to skip next week's national team's training camp, Russia coach Guus Hiddink said.
Hiddink decided to give Arshavin, who joined Arsenal for a club record £15 million this week, more time to get acquainted with Premier League football.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko will also miss the February 8-12 camp in Turkey. Spurs host their north London rivals in the Premier League derby on Sunday.
