Big Phil's back as boss – in Uzbekistan

Luiz Felipe Scolari has returned to management for the first time since his sacking by Chelsea - in far-flung Uzbekistan. The Brazilian World Cup winner has signed an 18-month contract with FC Bunyodkor, saying he was attracted by a club who would “give him the chance to grow”. Last summer, while known as PFC-Kuruvchi, the club claimed to have signed Samuel Eto'o before inviting Cesc Fabregas and Andres Iniesta to train with them.   During the subsequent year they have successfully hired Rivaldo (on £80,000 a week) and Zico for a brief spell as manager. Now they have persuaded a third Brazilian to make the move to Tashkent.
