PARIS - Holders Bordeaux's French League Cup last 16 tie at Le Mans, which was postponed due to heavy snow on Tuesday night, will not be played on Wednesday afternoon, the French League said.
The Le Mans town council issued a decree saying no game could be played in the Leon-Bollee stadium, which is covered by snow.
"The game between Le Mans and Bordeaux has been postponed in accordance with the municipal decree taken by Le Mans town council," the French League said in a statement.
No new date has yet been set.
Six other League Cup games are due to take place on Wednesday.
Twelve French Cup matches were postponed because of wintry conditions last weekend.
