LIMA - Peru goalkeeper Leao Butron has had his suspension for violent conduct against a referee reduced to seven matches on appeal, the football federation said in a statement on Tuesday. Butron, who plays for title holders San Martin, had been banned for three months and one match following the incident in a league game against Melgar. The goalkeeper, who has already missed six matches, is now likely to return against Alianza Atletico in the northern city of Piura on August 23.
