Camoranesi facing two month layoff
"The player is better, he is walking without crutches and the medical treatments are continuing," the club said on their website.
"The prognosis is still around two months and the Juventus staff are optimistic about his recovery time."
Relatively speaking, it is good news for the Turin club as there had been fears in the Italian media that the injury could require surgery that would put Camoranesi's participation at next year's World Cup at risk.
His loss is still a big blow for Juve, who were knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage and are third in Serie A after a patchy start to their domestic campaign.
Camoranesi is on the Juve injured list along with goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, defender Giorgio Chiellini, midfielder Mohamed Sissoko and forward Vincenzo Iaquinta.
