Cana allowed to leave Marseille

Marseille captain Lorik Cana could be set for a move to the Premier League this summer, after the Ligue 1 club's sporting director revealed they are open to offers for his services. The 25-year-old Albanian international has made more than 100 league appearances for the French outfit - scoring 17 times - since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain in 2005. And the Yugoslavia-born midfielder, who has won 31 caps for Albania, is being linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester City during the close-season. Spurs are reportedly leading the chase as manager Harry Redknapp seeks replacements for midfield pair Tom Huddlestone and Didier Zokora, who are expected to depart White Hart Lane during the close-season. And a move for Cana has now been made more likely, after Marseille chief Jose Anigo revealed the club are willing to listen to offers for their skipper. “It's simply that it's been four years that Lorik has been here and he has the right to want to experience other things," he said, as reported by the Telegraph. "Today we're open to his transfer, if something happens we'll listen.” SPURS FANS!
