Capello compliments Ancelotti's Blues

Fabio Capello has showered Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti with praise for the way his compatriot has rejuvenated the Blues.

“He found a team that had lost its motivation,” said the England boss. “But the team has now rediscovered the level of excellence they had under [Jose] Mourinho,"

Ancelotti, who played under Capello during his time at AC Milan in the early 90’s, has taken maximum points from the first six games of the season, and the England boss has noticed a change for the better in the Blues’ recent performances.

“Chelsea are playing well, in a different style, and now they are a very dangerous team for any opponent.”

Chelsea have motored their way through four managers since Mourinho’s departure in 2007, but Capello thinks they have finally found stability with Ancelotti: “He has brought back the spirit that was lost with the coaches before."
