Casillas curtails Old Trafford talk

The Spanish international, who has made more than 350 league appearances for the Bernabeu outfit since progressing from the club's C and B teams in 1999, had been tipped to move to England as the Premier League champions look to spend some of the £80 million paid by Real for FIFA World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, the glove-man, who has been capped 94 times by his country and currently has a contract with the 31-time la Liga winners until 2017, says there is no substance to the rumours, and that he intends to stay with the Madridistas for life.

"There is absolutely nothing, neither from United nor another club," he told AS.

"Neither my agent nor Madrid have informed me of any offer, and nobody has called me either. It's speculation, which is what happens when the transfer market is open.

"I have a contract with Madrid until 2017 and what I'm thinking about is completing it. Everybody knows Madrid are in my heart and that I'm a White until I die. I joined Real Madrid as a child and Madrid is my home."
