CSKA Sofia handed home ban for crowd violence

SOFIA - Champions CSKA Sofia must play their next home match at a neutral ground after fans caused trouble at Cherno More Varna last weekend, the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) said on Tuesday. The ban will be served on Saturday when CSKA, who were also fined 2,000 levs ($1,395), face city rivals Lokomotiv Sofia. CSKA are second with 62 points from 27 matches, two points behind Levski Sofia. Cherno More midfielder Yordan Yourukov was hit with an object while preparing to take a corner kick midway through the second half of the league match. Last month, CSKA were warned by the BFU's disciplinary commission that they faced a stadium ban after a pitch invasion during their league win over Vihren.
