Derbyshire agrees Olympiakos deal

ATHENS - On-loan striker Matt Derbyshire has agreed a permanent move from Blackburn Rovers to Olympiakos Piraeus, the Greek club said on Thursday. The Greek champions refused to dislose the transfer fee for the former England under-21 international but local media reports said it was about three million euros. An additional 600,000 euros will be paid if Olympiakos retain their title next year and reach the Champions League group stages. Derbyshire spent the last six months on loan at Olympiakos and helped them win the double, scoring twice in the Greek Cup final.
