The agent of Ivorian winger Kader Keita says the winger is happy to stay at Lyon and prove his worth to the former French champions, despite reports linking him with a move away.
The 27-year-old has made 50 league appearances for the Ligue 1 giants - netting five goals - since arriving from Lille in 2007.
However, the Ivory Coast international, who has won 33 caps for his country, has flattered to deceive since his €18 million arrival and is interesting Everton, West Ham and Serie A side Roma, according to L'Equipe.
But Keita's representative, Alfred Obrou, insists the player remains hopeful he will still be a Lyon player next season and given the opportunity to prove his critics wrong.
"Kader did not have the best two years in his career, but he is ready to make amends," he said.
"I have contacts for him but he wants to stay and prove his worth to Lyon. But if they don't want to keep him, he will look elsewhere.
"He will return to France for pre-season and we will see. There are contacts in England, he is a great player so it is normal but nothing is official yet."comments
