Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas insists his future at the Emirates Stadium does not hinge on whether manager Arsene Wenger stays at the club's helm. The Spanish starlet has been moulded into one the best central midfielder's in Europe under the Frenchman's tutelage since his arrival from the Barcelona academy in 2003.
But despite reports suggesting that should Wenger ever leave Arsenal, Fabregas would quickly follow his manager out of the door, the 21-year-old is adament he is focused solely on his own career. “I hope that my future will be at Arsenal, but it does not depend on Wenger’s future at all," he said.
“Of course we are talking about a very important person to me. I respect him a lot, but in football you try to achieve things as an individual.
“I hope that I will play football for another 10 or 12 years. I have no idea of where I will be.” ARSENAL FANS!
