Football League Awards: Voting closed

Public voting has now closed for nominations in the Football League Awards, in association with FourFourTwo.

Now in its fifth season, the Football League Awards celebrates the finest achievements in the world's oldest league competition – from the playing field to the wider community.

Previous winners of the Best Player award include Phil Jagielka, Jason Koumas, Kevin Phillips and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, while divisional awards have been picked up by Keith Andrews, Jermaine Beckford, Lee Trundle and Billy Sharp.

Other awards for players include Goal of the Year, Young Player and Apprentice – honours picked up over the years by Joe Ledley, Gareth Bale, Lewin Nyatanga and Chris Gunter.

The awards also honour the hard work away from the limelight, and have given gongs for Best Family Club, Best Community Club, Best Matchday Programme and Fan of the Year.

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday March 14 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.

Follow the Awards on the night on before reading about them the following day in our special Football League issue of FourFourTwo.
