Injured Diaby ruled out for France

France midfielder Abou Diaby has been ruled out of Wednesday's World Cup Group Seven qualifier at home to Lithuania because of a sore right hip, the French Federation said. Lille's Rio Mavuda has been called up to replace the Arsenal player in the squad. Diaby becomes the second Gunner to pick up an injury on international duty this week, after Robin van Persie pulled out of the Holland squad with a hamstring problem.
