TOKYO - Japan's players will be dressed to thrill at the World Cup in tailor-made $3,000 James Bond-style suits.
The "Blue Samurai"- who have never won a World Cup finals match on foreign soil - have been drawn in Group E alongside Netherlands, Cameroon and Denmark for the finals in South Africa.
"The players will arrive in very cool travel suits," the Japan Football Association's World Cup media officer Ichirota Fukushi said on Tuesday after the unveiling of the British-made suits.
"They will travel to and from games in the official suit. They are a bit like the sort in the '007' movies. They even have cufflinks."
